Education
Chehalis Basin Fisheries Task Force is committed to fostering a well-informed and engaged community dedicated to protecting and enhancing our local fisheries. Through public forums, group presentations, and hands-on educational efforts, we work to raise awareness about the importance of fisheries enhancement and the vital role individuals play in preserving our waterways.
We actively support environmental education by providing financial assistance to the Onalaska High School Aquaculture program, helping students gain firsthand experience in sustainable aquaculture and conservation efforts. Additionally, we contribute to the Chehalis Basin Stream Keepers, ensuring the success of educating and empowering future generations.
By building a knowledgeable community that embraces personal ownership and responsibility for the river and its resources, we strive to create lasting stewardship that benefits both people and wildlife for generations to come
